Keio University (Japan) Student Receives
Commendation Award for Entrance Report: The Science of Classical Ballet.
"As a result
of meeting Mr. Apatow, I felt like I took my first step toward understanding
the science behind classical ballet. I was especially inspired by the fact
that although traditional training methods in classical ballet were made
for those who are born with characteristics of the classical ballet ideal,
it was possible to increase the biomechanical potential of a dancer safely
and efficiently by incorporating Mr. Apatow’s program. I, too, decided
to seek the classical ballet ideal, and have started my own retraining
program." -- Marisa Hamamoto, Student, Keio University, Shonan-Fujisawa-Campus
(SFC).
